Calyptra's Gran Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful and expressive red wine from the Alto Cachapoal region. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from hand-harvested grapes, fermented with precision, and aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, followed by 12 months of bottle aging for a refined structure. Its deep ruby hue with violet reflections introduces a complex nose of ripe cherries, raspberries, blackberries, green bell peppers, black pepper, and tobacco. The palate is full-bodied, juicy, and well-balanced, with smooth tannins, bright acidity, and a fresh, velvety finish. A wine with remarkable depth and excellent aging potential.
