  • Sourced from the renowned Don Manuel vineyard, ideal for Carménère
  • Notes of red paprika, bay leaf, cherry, plum, hibiscus, and black pepper
  • Aged 10 months in French oak for balance, depth, and a persistent finish

La Capitana Carménère is a bold and expressive wine from Peumo, one of the world’s best regions for Carménère. Sourced from the Don Manuel vineyard, this single-vineyard selection showcases intense aromatics of red paprika, black pepper, bay leaf, cherry, plum, hibiscus, and clove. The palate is concentrated and fruit-forward, with good body and medium acidity, softened by smooth, enveloping tannins. Aged for 10 months in French oak, it achieves a perfect balance of power and elegance with a long, persistent finish.
